Why I write.
I write to make medicine feel human again. Behind every case is a person with fear, hope, and family. Words help me slow down, listen, and honor that person.
I am an anesthesiologist, but I am also a teacher. Writing lets me turn hard lessons from the OR into plain truth. No jargon, no polish—just what helps a student, a young doctor, or a patient’s family. If a story can spare someone a mistake or bring them a little courage, it is worth the effort.
I also write for myself. Putting pain and grace on the page keeps me honest and grateful. In the end, I write so we breathe easier together—one clear line at a time.
